Lesson Plans for November 28-December 2, 2016

Monday-

Students will have an opportunity to finish finding entrance scores necessary for obtaining entry to their college/career of choice.  Due by the end of class.

Tuesday-

Discuss financial aid, scholarships, and other sources of income to support post-secondary education

Wednesday-

Students will complete test review questions over college and career opportunities using their notes.

Thursday-

Test review questions due.  Students will then participate in test review game over college and career opportunities.  Top five winners of game will receive 5 bonus points towards their test grade.

Friday-

Test over college and career opportunities

Lesson Plans for November 14-18, 2016

Students will analyze college and career opportunities:

  • explore opportunities for earning college credit in high school
  • develop an awareness of financial aid, scholarships, and other sources of income to support post-secondary education
  • discuss the impact of effective college and career planning
  • identify how performance on assessments such as the SAT, ACT, ASVAB, and ACCUPLACER impact personal academic and career goals
